Day 3

What’s the challenge?

My original plan was to watch positive psychology to take care of myself. But I do not really have time today to watch it because I am extremely busy. Actually even right now I am still working. I decided to forgive myself. I decided that is my challenege

Why?

Taking care of myself is not, probably just be happy, working hard, finishing task, etc. I am a human being. I have tried my best today but still could not finish today’s goal. So instead, I decided to forgive myself. I do not want to blame myself for not being a superman. I do not want to hate myself every day. I tried my best and I should be proud.

How has this fear affected your life so far?

How was the experience?

I feel better now. I should have made a better plan and been more focused. But I chose to forgive myself because I have done many things today. I think I even need to write down these things every day to tell myself the progress that I made. I should be proud of myself!

What advice can you give others with similar fears?

Stop cursing yourself for not finishing something when you have tried your best. Or you did not at first, but you try really hard later. I have learned a lesson from this. But I know I have done a good job

Day 2

What’s the challenge?

do not procrastinate for a day. 10 minutes buffering

Why?

I feel this is wrong. I want to work really hard to see what I can do in one day. I want to remove a thing from my list that I think could make me hate myself.

How has this fear affected your life so far?

can not finish tasks well. An execute that could make me feel better — I did not do well because I have not tried enough.

How was the experience?

I am still working right now. To be honest, I think I should stop thinking about the fantasies that I could finish everything every day. I made a lot of progress today. I still have worries but I am pround of myself. Being unrealistic is badbadbad. Be real and try my best

What advice can you give others with similar fears?

Try your best. Have a realistic plan. Execution is really important. Forget about the plan from 2:30 – 3:30 I will … I hope I can be like this for more time, hopefully forever:)

Day 1

What’s the challenge?

Call my parents

Why?

I always wait for them to call me for some reason. Maybe because I want to act tough. Maybe because I feel disappointed if I call them and tell them about my worries. Maybe because I take this for credit.

How has this fear affected your life so far?

How was the experience?

I guess it went well. I talked with them and told them about all of the stress that I has bothered me. It is just good to talk with someone, even if thats your parents.

What advice can you give others with similar fears?

talk to them. call them. text them. They do love you. At least for the sake of being not that lonely

The Journey Begins

Do check this out — http://100dayswithoutfear.com

I have been in depression probably since I was in elementary probably. I try my best to succeed in life and I have a life that I would say, many of my friends are jealous of. Try to be a good boy, a good student, good good good…

However, I always pay a price for being a good. World is ending to me when I am not in good. I believe it is time for me to change. I want to do something, something that could get me out of this cycle where I study or work hard, stressed to death, desperate, cry, make something work finally, but then do the same process again. This time I want to challenge myself. This time I want to live the way I want. This time I will try things that I am scared of. This time I will be a stronger self. This time I want to be the self I want to be.
